This is an Indoor/Outdoor 3MP IP Bullet Security Camera with a manual zoom lens from 2.7mm to 12mm. This High Definition ONVIF Bullet is just what you need to capture detail in your recordings. You will be amazed at how you can digitally zoom in on your recorded security footage without the distortion that you will find in analog cameras, for example. This way, if you ever need to give your recorded footage over to the police for evidence, the authorities will love that they will be able to have an easier time making a positive ID on the criminal. Capturing features such as a tattoo are very beneficial, and that is what a 3MP camera such as this bullet can provide.

Built into this camera is a 1/3 inch Aptina, 3 Megapixel Image Sensor and that is why this camera can deliver high quality, HD recordings. Whether you are using this camera set at the widest angle (2.7mm) for an overall view, or at 12mm for a closer, tightened-in view, you will be amazed at the detail this camera can pick up. At night, the Night Vision IR will see up to 100 feet. So, day or night, you will have incredibly detailed recordings. It is always recommended to use a few of these cameras set at different zooms, so you can completely capture your surroundings. For example, in an outside parking lot, you can have a couple of these bullets mounted on the front of your building giving you an overall view of your parking lot. Then you can have another mounted on a pole zoomed in on the entrance to your lot, so you can capture the vehicles as they are driving in and leaving. Then you could have another camera on the building zoomed in to capture people's faces as they are walking into your building. Of course, these are just examples and it depends on how big of an area you need to cover.

To record from this camera, it is always a great idea to record to an NVR, Hybrid or Tribrid DVR. However, if this is not in your budget, you can record to a 64GB Class 4 SD Card (not included). This will fill up fast at 3MP, so to be safe, and to make sure your camera is always recording, we suggest recording to a security recorder.

This is a Smart Camera. This means that it comes with some additional as part as the Intelligent Video Surveillance System (IVS). These are the Tripwire Feature, Intrusion Feature, Abandoned Object Feature, Missing Object Feature, and the Scene Change Feature. These features enable you to receive alerts via email whenever a triggered event occurs based on your setup.
